Buff polishing, also known as buff finishing or buff grinding, is a process in which a soft buff made of flexible materials such as cloth, leather, or rubber is coated with abrasive particles. This buff is then rotated and pressed against the workpiece to polish its surface. By performing buff polishing, the surface condition of rolls and molds can be smoothed out. It is the ideal finishing method when a glossy surface is desired. For rolls, a surface finish of Rmax 0.8S to 0.4S is achievable after plating. We also accept processing of items provided by you.
